Mount Prospect Senior Living, an Integral Senior Living community, has named Matthew Dunn director of sales and marketing.
Dunn began his career as a project manager in the senior living industry and moved to working in sales for senior living communities in 2012. His primary responsibilities will include overseeing all sales and marketing activities while working with potential residents and their families.
“Helping future residents and their families find a community that will help them live a vibrant life is my passion,” Dunn said. “I’m excited to get to know the community and welcome new residents.”
Waltonwood Cotswold, Charlotte, N.C., has announced Tammy Mullins as its new executive director. Mullins brings more than 20 years of senior living experience to her new role. She has held multiple positions at senior living communities across the country, including business office manager, assistant executive director, executive director, and regional director.
Mullins is a certified director of assisted living and a certified dementia practitioner. Missing the one-on-one relationships with associates and residents, Mullins decided to return to the community level. As executive director at Waltonwood Cotswold, she will oversee the daily operations of the community and provide support to each department.

Hallmark Healthcare of Carlinville, in Carlinville, Ill., has named Chasity Albers executive director. The 49-bed skilled nursing facility provides specialized therapy services and rehabilitative care in a compassionate, homelike environment.
Previously, Albers served as director of social services and admissions coordinator at the Sunrise Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Virden, Ill.
“I look forward to working with our skilled team of expert professionals and dedicated staff to continue to foster a collaborative culture and to ensure that our residents receive the level of care and attention they deserve,” said Albers.
Retirement Unlimited (RUI), a family-owned and Virginia-based senior living community management company, has promoted Emily Erickson to regional director of clinical services.
Erickson has been with RUI since 2016, and prior to her promotion she worked as the director of wellness for RUI’s Bay Lake Community in Virginia Beach, Va. She previously worked at UVA Health System as a clinical care coordinator providing continuum of care in nursing as part of an interdisciplinary team.
In her new position, Erickson will travel to all RUI communities and provide clinical oversight and direction to ensure regulatory compliance and meeting the needs and standards of the residents.
"I love that as a nurse I get to meet so many wonderful residents and develop long-term relationships with them and their families,” said Erickson.
Renowned chef Kfir Kertes has joined The Watermark at Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn, N.Y., as executive chef.
Kertes will direct all culinary operations, develop daily and seasonal menus, and work closely with nutritionists and dieticians to translate members’ tastes and preferences into attractive, nutritious options that will offer superior quality while addressing individual needs.
Kertes will also oversee hiring, onboarding, and staff training for the food preparation personnel. Upon reaching full occupancy, The Watermark at Brooklyn Heights’ dining staff will total up to 75 people, including the kitchen crew of 30.
