​The Razorback Band recently played some tunes for Magnolia Place residents. Residents got to see the band in action as they played songs throughout the home. “Even our quietest residents will spark up,” said Lauren McClure, a staff member at the facility.

​The Girl Scouts from St. Ansgar, Iowa trekked the 26 miles north to Austin, Minn., to hand-deliver cookies to each resident. The Girl Scout Troop reached out to the director of nursing at Good Samaritan Comfortcare for the event.

​Dominick Carter, a resident at PruittHealth–Fairburn, was aware of the extreme challenges and stress that the staff were under throughout the pandemic. He wanted to create “Job Well Done” certificates for staff who he felt had gone above and beyond. “I just wanted them to know how much we, all the patients, really appreciated all that they did during that period,” Carter shared.
